Atlanta History Center
Seven iconic indoor and outdoor venues in the heart of Buckhead
About
The Atlanta History Center is one of Atlanta's most prestigious event destinations, offering seven distinct indoor and outdoor venues across 33 acres in the heart of Buckhead. From the Grand Overlook Ballroom with its barrel-vaulted ceiling, Brazilian cherry-wood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the illuminated Quarry Garden — to the timeless elegance of Swan House Gardens, designed by Philip Trammel Shutze in 1928 — every space tells a story. The recently renovated Allen Atrium at the Atlanta History Museum offers a modern complement with award-winning exhibitions as your backdrop. Whether you're planning an intimate elopement at the fountain or a 750-guest gala in the ballroom, the Atlanta History Center provides a setting that is equal parts historic grandeur and natural beauty. Weddings, corporate events, nonprofit galas, social celebrations, photo shoots, and filming productions welcome.
